FORMATION OF A REGIONAL INNOVATIVE INFRASTRUCTURE: METHODOLOGICAL APPROACH

Background. The process of formation of a regional innovative system can not be realized without the corresponding innovative infrastructure which establishes interrelations and interactions of subjects of innovative activity and promotes delivering of results of innovative activity to end users. The article defines the principles of the mechanism of formation and development of the innovative infrastructure in Chely-abinsk region, establishes its functional structure and describes the vectors of its change, directed on management of innovative growth and formation of the favorable innovative environment. The research objective consists in development of theoretical and methodological provisions of formation of a regional innovative infrastructure. The research object of research is the problems of innovative infrastructure management.
Materials and methods. The methodological and theoretical basis included theoretical and empirical researches in the field of regional economy, in the sphere of innovative infrastructure. In the course of the research the authors used such general scientific economic methods as induction and deduction, analysis and synthesis, the comparative method, the analogy method.
Results. The main approaches to definition of the categories "innovative infrastructure", "institutional environment" were investigated, the principles of formation and development of a regional innovative infrastructure were defined and its func-tional blocks were revealed.
Conclusions. The research results make a certain contribution to the theory and methodology of formation and development of a regional innovative system and in-creasing of efficiency of functioning of its separate subsystems.
